Students tested out their hockey skills during a 2 hour hockey clinic as part of the Victorian Hockey Roadshow. There were plenty of laughs and a little bit of friendly competition among students. Overall they had a blast and came back to school with their very own hockey stick and ball to practise their skills!

The bus was abuzz with excitement as students and teachers travelled to the Planetarium and Discovery Centre in Bendigo. We spent the morning exploring and wondering about all of the amazing exhibits after which some of our students conquered their fears on the 7metre drop called the "Vertical Slide". The Planetarium visit in the afternoon was captivating as we visited outer space, the sun, saw black holes and other galaxies. The knowledge shared by our students in this session was incredible. It is always a delight taking our students out of the school to extend their learning - well done to everyone involved!

Our students and staff were immersed in all things BOOKS this week. We finished the week off with a special celebration day when students became 'Amazing Creators' using our Unboxy kit to make the most 'Amazing Things' like the students in Kim Smith's book "Boxitects". We also read "Sebastian Stands Out" and designed our own camouflaging chameleons. Such a fun day!
